They say you always find your way back to the things you loved as a child. For me, that has always been theater. It is deeply rooted in who I am, and it was through theater that I first discovered my love for fashion. Long before I understood what a career in fashion could look like, I dreamed of becoming a costume designer.

For the past year, I have been conceptualizing my next collection with the intention of returning to those roots. The process began when I started taking piano and music theory classes, challenging myself to understand music beyond simply listening to it. I wanted to explore how the elements and emotions of music could influence the way I design clothing.

At the center of the collection is the intersection of rock ’n’ roll and theater; two influences that defined my childhood in different ways. Metallica is exclusively played by my dad, while theater became my own creative outlet. Bringing these worlds together became a way of creating an ode to my childhood while reinterpreting those memories through the designer I have become.

Music is at the heart of this collection, but it goes beyond clothing inspired by sound. My goal was to bring fashion, theater, music, and storytelling together into a single experience. Rather than a traditional fashion campaign, I want this collection to be seen as a piece of art.
